Visited for the $1 oysters/scallops which was a great deal. They’re $1 each for the first 6 per person and then $2 after that which is still a great deal.
Food was good though some dishes like the spanned crab noodles were a little pricey for the portion.
I was surprised by how good the food was in Ni Hao Bar. The sweet potato fries were the best I have had anywhere including the US. My chicken parmigiana was cooked perfectly, Even the dressing of the side salad was better than most places.
Me & my fiancè went for the first time today & safe to say we will be back!!! Delicious cocktails, very cool outside bar & INCREDIBLE tasty food! Our faves was the pork bao bun, chicken wings, wagyu steak, & deep fried ice-cream, wowee! Staff were really attentive & friendly - only downsides was it was a bit cold inside & no heaters on in outside bar. Plus I do personally enjoy an actual menu but we had to order via QR code - but that’s not end of the world.
Ni Hao Bar exceeded our expectations for pre-drinks in every way. From the tantalizing aromas of their food to the impeccable taste of their drinks, this place left a lasting impression.
Upon arrival, the enticing scent of their cuisine immediately grabbed our attention. Although we didn’t dine here this time, the wafting aromas left us eager to return for a culinary adventure.
What truly stole the show, though, were the drinks. The flavors were exquisite, and the mixologists at Ni Hao Bar clearly know their craft. Each sip was a delightful surprise, and we couldn’t help but savor every moment.
One highlight of our visit was the mesmerizing fire show that the bar put on. It added a unique and exhilarating element to our evening. The combination of expertly crafted drinks and a thrilling fire performance made for an unforgettable experience.
In conclusion, Ni Hao Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional pre-drinks destination. The tempting scents, delicious drinks, and the fantastic fire show create a perfect recipe for a memorable night out. Highly recommended!
Apologies in advance for the after photos of the food provided.
Ni Hao Bar is quite the stable as a social space for a Friday night gathering but I was intrigued with how it will perform as a dining experience with your closed ones.
And let me tell you... it was disappointing.
Bone marrow was extremely undersized with the filling inside the bone can only fill 2 of the six crackers provided.
The deep-fried cuttlefish was also scrunched up together as seen in the photo.
There are some innovative dishes but do not justify the high price for them
Service was also horrible as we were served by a bloke reiteriating that we have to take order from the waiters (despite having the ability to scan the QR code on the table), but his colleague, who showed terrible customer services, rolling her eyes when we were calling her to order.
She then told us to order through the phone but we were told but the waiter who seated us to order through them, to pay such premium price, I don't see no premium services.
Really impressed with the food here! Only found out about 1$ oysters and scallops but such a good deal! The scallops were especially done well, very meaty and sweet.
Everything we ordered were delicious. The spanner crab noodles were full of umami, the crab rangoon dip and spam fries were perfect drinking food.
The mixed jugs were also such a good deal at happy hour - we liked the lychee ones. The teapots were nice for the gram, but i reckon the jug is the way to go.
Service was on point and we all agreed to come back again.

Known for their great vibes/music, the food, Teapot Shots, and amazing cocktails that are unique and delicious! Also, the best shot menu in Sydney! You are guaranteed a fun night at Ni hao Bar! I've celebrated a few birthdays here, and often just walk in for drinks in their bar area with my friends.

Overall, my entire group loved the menu and drink options, they were super impressed with all of the food and can't wait to plan another fun night out! The staff were super friendly and even brought out a little dessert with candles and sparklers to make my Birthday Special! This is perfect for Dinner and Drinks, or even just drinks if you're just looking to visit the bar around the side!
